Physical Education

The objective of physical education is to provide students with the necessary skills for a lifetime of physical activity. The aim of physical education is to educate the whole child through the use of the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains. Our instruction attends to all these domains and can be tailored to teach the skills necessary to develop a caring, responsible and respectful learner while also promoting a healthy lifestyle. In addition, these tools can empower students to be productive members of society as they move toward adulthood. Finally, the curriculum is designed to promote social and motor skills, physical fitness and a basic understanding of rules, concepts, and strategies found in lifetime activities.
